Apricot production has grown rapidly in Moldova in recent years. International demand for apricots is increasing, which is why we have invested significantly in apricot cultivation.
We currently operate apricot orchards covering 28 hectares, with an annual production and export volume of approximately 600 tonnes.
We grow three apricot varieties.
Harvest period: July
Market period: July – August
Description: A French apricot variety with round, medium to large fruit. The skin is bright orange, covered 65–75% with red blush. The flesh is firm, juicy, sweet and slightly tangy, with a pleasant flavor. Kyoto is a semi-early variety harvested in early July and is well suited for transport and handling.

Description: Large fruit (around 60 g), oval in shape. The skin is yellow with a pinkish-red blush. The flesh is yellow, dense, juicy and lightly aromatic, with a good taste.

Description: Lady Cot is a mid-to-late ripening, self-fertile and highly productive apricot variety with large, deep red fruit. The fruit is oval-shaped, with firm, sweet and aromatic flesh.

Sorted apricots are packed in cardboard boxes, wooden crates or flow-pack trays, depending on customer requirements. The process is continuous and includes the supply of packaging materials, corner protectors, pallets, pallet wrap and clips.
Boxes and crates are stored on pallets and loaded into refrigerated trucks.
