“Perfect quality” - what the germans say about moldovan plums

Despite a very complicated season, in which much of the fruits have been affected due to bad phenomena such as late spring frost, hail and drought, the local producers continue to conquer the EU consumers.

One of the loyal partners in this respect has proved to be the importing co-operative OGA/OGV from Germany. Recently, the company wrote about Moldovan plums that they have a “perfect quality” and that they are very satisfied with the shipped lots.

Contacted by Agrobiznes, Kurt Halder, the co-operative representative, gave us more details:

Recently, plums were delivered to us by 6 Moldovan companies: Farm-Prod, Agarista Agricola, Ionex-Trans, Ceteronis, Fani and Codru ST. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of the fruits we have received, and the taste is very special, " Kurt Halder told us.

2 years ago, the co-operative OGA/OGV was looking for Moldovan producers who could supply plums to the German market. Agrobiznes had published an article to inform more local producers about this opportunity. Shortly, the representatives of the co-operative informed us that they have managed to establish partnerships, and some of them are already maintained the third season.
